ACap Process

ACap employs a holistic approach to advising. In order to fully understand your goals and objectives, we use a five-step highly customized process for onboarding asset management clients before any investment decisions are made. New asset management clients undergo the following steps:

Introduction

When you contact us, we will review your inquiry to schedule a free consultation. During our consult, we will ask you about your goals and discuss any questions or concerns you may have. This meeting is a chance for us to get to know each other, and mutually determine if we are a good fit to work together.

Document Aggregation

Once you’ve decided to work with us, we will send you an engagement package and collect your fee. We then collect relevant financial documents, which will enable us to draft your financial plan and manage your accounts.

Account Creation

During an onboarding call, we will walk you through the paperwork to open or transfer your investment accounts to one of our trusted custodians (either Charles Schwab or TD Ameritrade).

Preparation

Leave this step to us. We will review your documents and create your financial plan. We will ensure that your new accounts are open or your transfers are complete for the implementation of your plan.

Presentation & Implementation

We will meet with you to review your financial plan in depth and begin to implement your portfolio. As part of our ongoing management, you will receive highly-detailed performance reports on a quarterly basis and meet regularly with your advisor.
